Stay Alive Kids: A painting series

This series highlights the rich and diverse history of queer culture during the 20th century and into our contemporary era. Each painting makes reference to phrases, typesets, and composition found on pushback pins archived during the 70’s & 80’s queer liberation movement. The pointillist style of painting is made up of dozens of different hues. As such, history is made through the stories of hundreds of cultures & perspectives.
